There is an incentive for being fast in qualifying in rounds of the 2016-17 AHG Sprintcar Series that gets underway at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night.
Not only does a good time set the drivers up for each night of racing, but the driver with the most amount of Quick Times over the season will be rewarded.
They will win a set of custom-made, titanium vales from Victory 1 Performance, valued at around $3500.
Sprintcar Entrants Group chairman Geoff Kendrick said it was a quality award and thanked Conrad and Derek Dahl from Victory 1 Performance in North Carolina, USA, for getting behind the series.
“They were involved last year and wanted to get more involved this coming season and we thank them for their support of our strong domestic sprintcar series,” Kendrick said.
Victory 1 Performance makes one-piece titanium valves, that are forged in-house.
They are the experts in titanium and steel valvespring retainers, steel and titanium valve keepers, lash caps, locators, spring cups, guides, seats, general machining, pushrods, roller lifters, shims, buckets, high performance valvetrain components.
