A THIRD in last night’s round of the AHG Sprintcar Series at the Perth Motorplex has catapulted Jason Kendrick into second place in the 2016-17 championship with two rounds remaining.
The penultimate round is held at the Perth Motorplex tonight with the series to wrap up at Quit Bunbury Speedway next Saturday night.
Kendrick was third before last night but is now second on 1780 points, trailing defending series champion Brad Maiolo on 1836, while Ben Ellement is third overall on 1774.
Brad Maiolo took a 10th in last night’s feature race while Ellement crossed the line in 15th spot.
Points are only accumulated on feature race points with 150 for a win, 146 for second, 144 for third etc.
