BEN Ellement has had some blistering pace in his return to racing this season but has failed to convert good starts into good results so far in 2015-16.

He has been in positions to win races or grab some solid podium results, only to fall short with race incidents.

Ellement will be looking forward to turning that around when he contests the Washpod Westernapolis at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night as part of the Grand Final for the AHG Sprintcar Series.

He goes into the event 10th on points, a position he is keen to cement at the series decider.
