CAN the third generation of one family add their name to the record books as well when the 54th running of the WA Sprintcar Championship is held at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night?
Shaun Bradford and his team will certainly be hoping so and if the W57 crosses the line first in the championship race he will add his name to the list that already has his late father Ian and grandfather Noel on it.
Noel won his first WA championship back in 1974-75 and backed it up with another victory in the following season.
Ian Bradford then went on to become the WA champion in 1987-88.
Shaun has gone close in the past but is yet to win the championship in the 410 class.
