THE Joker is expected to make an appearance when round three of the AHG Sprintcar Series is held at Quit Bunbury Speedway this Saturday night.
The meeting is the first major one of the season for the South-West venue after two Super Speedway events have been run at the Perth Motorplex.
None of the drivers have played their Joker card yet – which doubles their feature race points.
The only catch for the drivers is they have to declare they are playing the Joker at the drivers’ meeting – well before hot laps, qualifying and heat races are held.
Rumour has it that at least a couple of drivers will be chasing double points come Saturday night, so if they claim a good feature in the feature they could receive a massive points boost.
Round winners so far have been James McFadden and Jason Kendrick.
Nominations: Lee Nash, Andrew Priolo, Brodie Minchin, Cameron Gessner, Ben Ellement, Lee Redmond, Callum Williamson, Brad Maiolo, Scott Chatwin, James Inglis, Jason Kendrick, Mitchell Wormall, Jamie Buszan and Jamie Maiolo.
